Title of Job: Construction Project Manager
Status: Exempt
Reports To: Director of Construction
Summary of Position: The Construction Project Manager oversees assigned clients and construction projects. They handle existing client relationships in conjunction with the Director of Construction and the Business Development Specialist, manage project elements such as scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate with the client's general contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Ultimately, the Construction Project Manager bears sole responsibility for ensuring the successful completion and closure of all new construction and remodel projects on time and on budget.
Job Responsibilities:
• Facilitate clear communication between the Client and project team to ensure a thorough understanding of the project scope.
• Familiarity with jobsite protocols specific to each project, location, brand, and client.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship throughout the project.
• Conduct surveys and offer solutions to meet the Client’s requirements.
• Estimate project costs and quantities accurately.
• Identify and address any issues outside of the project scope effectively with the Client.
• Execute duties with minimal supervision.
• Update all software systems internal and external, project milestones, task dates, budgets, and documents.
• Conduct meetings with Client and store personnel to review project progress.
• Coordinate schedules to meet Client deadlines.
• Maintain precise records including purchase logs, expense reimbursement forms, and other documentation.
• Provide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as required.
• Provide necessary supervision and guidance to the team, including the general contractor, superintendent, vendors, and suppliers.
• Sourcing and evaluating General Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed.
Managing and Developing Client Relationships
• Establish and sustain continuous rapport with key individuals at Client headquarters and local personnel.
• Develop and nurture a network of referrals to generate new revenue opportunities.
• Participate in regularly scheduled conference calls, company meetings, and trade shows.
• Uphold professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity at all times to positively represent the company.

• Knowledge and experience in General Contracting, Commercial remodel and Commercial New Construction
• Knowledge and experience in the Restaurant and Retail Construction field
• Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with Clients
• Possess proven problem-solving solutions for the Client and the company
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
• Effective organizational planning, communication, and superior time management
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to work with municipalities to complete required permitting when necessary
• Ability to read and interpret building codes
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications
• Demonstrated ability to read construction plans, FF&E installation documents, specifications and construction documents
• Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time and under budget
• Computer skills
• General knowledge of all trades
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to climb a ladder
Minimum Qualifications:
• Knowledge of construction safety and safety procedures
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Extremely organized
• 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Access to reliable transportation to reach Client locations
• Dependable and able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to travel 75-80% of time
