- Write and review production code, particularly as foundational architecture and abstractions are established.
- Integrate AI agents and learning from fleet data with safeguards appropriate for physical robots.
- Grow and lead the software platform team, establishing engineering standards and architecture reviews.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience architecting SaaS platforms that manage or control physical hardware at scale, such as IoT, connected-device, robotics, or fleet-management systems.
- Staff or Principal-level experience owning architecture across multiple teams, with the ability to design systems spanning edge, cloud, and frontend.
- Recent hands-on experience writing production code, along with strong distributed-systems skills.
- Familiarity with technologies and concepts such as WebSockets, gRPC, pub/sub, real-time communication, APIs, data pipelines, edge-cloud architecture, and OTA updates.
