Job Title: Lead Technical Business Analyst | Identity & Access Management
Lead business analysis across a major Identity and Access Management modernisation project, defining requirements, identity processes and data flows while supporting modern identity lifecycle, authentication, governance and Single Sign-On capabilities using Microsoft Entra ID.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 months
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline
Closing Date: Wednesday, 14 October 2026
Essential Tasks:
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops across business, technical, security, architecture and operational stakeholders.
- Elicit, analyse and manage functional, non-functional, security, privacy and operational requirements.
- Document current and future-state identity lifecycle, Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, access controls and data flows.
- Support UAT, business readiness, deployment, operational handover and complete, auditable analysis artefacts.
Key Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years' technical business analysis experience within government or a similarly complex organisation.
- Strong experience eliciting, documenting, validating and managing requirements for complex ICT initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability producing process models, business rules, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability.
- Highly desirable experience with IAM and Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, MIM, AD FS, SSO or identity lifecycle/JML environments.
