The Goals and Challenges of this Role:
- Plan, coordinate, conduct, and document risk-based internal audits.
- Manage audit findings, corrective-action follow-up, and effectiveness verification.
- Evaluate QMS processes for compliance, implementation, and effectiveness.
- Facilitate root-cause analysis and corrective actions for internal and customer-related issues.
- Improve the nonconformance process, including code standardization, data integrity, trend analysis, and reporting.
- Develop procedures, work instructions, metrics, and training materials.
- Support management review and enterprise Quality-improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor internal auditors, Quality team members, and process owners.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Operations, Welding, Inspection, IT, and other functional teams.
- Other duties assigned as the business needs change.
What You Should Bring to this Role:
- 3+ years manufacturing, quality or process improvement experience
- Prefer BS degree in areas related to manufacturing, industrial engineering, and engineering technology
- Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change throughout the organization.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and inspection equipment
- Detail oriented, fast paced, and self-directed
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
- Hands-on involvement in operations
- Strong communication skills
