Material Data Steward Lead (Supply Chain Planning)

Overview The Material Data Steward Lead (Supply Chain Planning) will support PepsiCo’s Enterprise Data Governance program within the Material domain, with a focus on Supply Chain Planning either to be based in Krakow (Poland) or Vitoria (Spain). This role partners with global data governance teams, local business teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure critical Material data is well-defined, consistently governed, and fit for purpose across enterprise systems. The role helps embed data governance practices into key Supply Chain and Planning initiatives by supporting data quality, cataloging, data requirements, and standards adoption. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of Material master data, Supply Chain Planning processes, SAP environments, and data governance practices, along with the ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements and sustainable governance outcomes. Responsibilities Support data assessments, DQ rules, cataloging, Data requirements(DRD/DAT) reviews, and subject area confirmations. Monitor data quality, support remediation, and perform root cause analysis. Identify critical data elements, dependencies, risks, and business rules across Material data. Validate definitions, standards, catalog attributes, and governance documentation. Collaborate with business, technical, governance, and domain teams to drive consistent standards adoption. Recommend process and tool improvements based on recurring data issues. Qualifications 5+ years of Data Governance or Data Management experience in a global CPG environment. 5+ years of functional experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA Strong Material domain and Supply Chain Planning knowledge. Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA; JDA(Blue Yonder) Planning or equivalent preferred. Experience with cataloging, metadata management, and data quality processes. Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements and governance outcomes. Compensation and Benefits - Poland location: The expected starting compensation range for this position is 249000,0 PLN annually (gross). Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
