ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI infrastructure company as its first QA engineer, owning quality across an AI-native platform for managing GPU fleets. You will test conversational and web interfaces alongside Kubernetes infrastructure, helping ensure customer requests are handled safely and production systems remain reliable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Test conversational workflows end to end, checking response accuracy and actions performed on live clusters.
- Build evaluations for AI agent behavior, including safe action handling and responses to ambiguous or invalid requests.
- Create end-to-end tests for the web interface and verify behavior is consistent across interfaces.
- Write Go integration tests for backend workflows such as installation, upgrades, and failover.
- Provision and tear down Kubernetes test clusters to validate controllers, operators, and custom resources across Kubernetes versions.
- Verify alerts reach the right destinations and fire only under appropriate conditions.
- Gate releases through CI and turn bugs and incidents into regression tests.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of experience in QA, SDET, or test automation, building or delivering test suites and automation frameworks.
- Strong Go skills, including backend test automation or integration testing, and experience building end-to-end tests for web UIs.
- Experience testing or validating Kubernetes systems, plus familiarity with Linux and CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with React and RPC protocols such as gRPC.
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Alertmanager, or Grafana is useful.
- Experience with multicluster tooling, Kubernetes testing, chaos engineering, GPUs, or bare-metal infrastructure is beneficial.
- Background testing conversational or LLM-powered products, building agent evaluations, or testing Slack apps is a plus.
