- Lead the surgical environment as a dual-threat clinician, expertly navigating both scrub and circulating roles to ensure seamless operative flow.
- Advocate for patient safety by vigilantly monitoring physiological status and communicating critical changes to the surgical team in real-time.
- Partner directly with surgeons during complex procedures, providing skilled technical assistance in hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure to optimize clinical outcomes.
- Coordinate the sterile field and surgical theater by meticulously preparing specialized instrumentation and equipment, ensuring the right tools are ready at the right moment.
- Document the complete patient perioperative journey to maintain a high-standard, continuous record of care that ensures safety and compliance from incision to recovery.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- One or more of the following required:- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
