Join our team

We are looking for a Site Inspector and Technical Officer to join our Public Realm team.

If you share our values and you are motivated to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

The role will be split between desktop and site visits and will involve desktop pre site checks, verifying current position with colleagues, plotting/changing map layers, updating work schedules and advising changes to operations and then site visits to test information/data with what is actually on the ground.

Specific tasks will include:

- Updating and increasing accuracy of our digital records using GIS and other information management systems.

We are looking for a flexible team player who is able to multi-task and work at pace. You will need to manage you own workload and feel able to carry out daily tasks with minimal supervision.

Attention to detail and IT dexterity is key and the ability to plot on a GiS system (QGis or similar) will be a distinct advantage.

You must be experienced in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a full UK driving licence with access to a car, insured for business use.
