We are working with an established, innovation-driven technology organisation in Switzerland that is looking to strengthen its specialist engineering team.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will take ownership of challenging process engineering activities, helping develop and improve advanced manufacturing technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing & Optimising Processes

- Design, develop and refine wet chemical processing techniques used in microfabrication.

- Improve process performance, stability and repeatability through structured experimentation.

- Evaluate new technical approaches and support the introduction of improved manufacturing methods.

Engineering & Technology Development

- Participate in technical development projects, contributing specialist knowledge from initial investigation through to industrial implementation.

- Plan and conduct practical experiments in controlled manufacturing environments.

- Analyse technical data, assess process results and translate findings into practical engineering improvements.

Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement

- Investigate complex technical issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.

- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing reliability, efficiency and overall process quality.

- Work across interconnected manufacturing stages to understand and optimise process performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with specialists from engineering, development and manufacturing.

- Contribute to technical discussions, share knowledge and help shape engineering decisions.

- Take responsibility for your projects while benefiting from the expertise of a highly capable team.

What We Are Looking For?

We are interested in speaking with technically strong, hands-on engineers who bring:

A degree in Microtechnology, Microsystems Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Semiconductor Engineering or a related discipline.

5+ years of relevant engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, MEMS, microfabrication or a comparable technical environment.

Practical knowledge of wet etching, wet chemical cleaning or related wet processing technologies.

Experience working with specialised manufacturing equipment and an understanding of cleanroom processes.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical challenges.

Experience supporting process development, optimisation, validation or industrialisation activities.

A proactive, independent approach combined with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Languages: Good working proficiency in both German and English.
