Job Title: Bicycle Patrol Officer
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Schedule: Rotating day schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.47 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a professional and reliable Bicycle Patrol Officer to help protect our client’s property and support a safe environment in Bridgeport. You’ll patrol the site by bicycle, observe and report incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular bicycle patrols of assigned areas
- Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations
- Respond to incidents and emergencies according to post orders
- Complete clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors and employees
- Work a rotating day schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Requirements
- Must meet local licensing and security officer requirements (if applicable)
- Ability to ride and patrol on a bicycle for extended periods
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts
