The Senior Account Executive is responsible for contributing to the development of our nonprofit client’s strategy and the creation and implementation of campaigns to acquire, cultivate, solicit, and retain donors across one or multiple nonprofit clients.

Your Impact:
- Leads all internal campaign planning meetings and external campaign presentations to clients.
- Writes and presents strategic and creative briefs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and campaign objectives.
- QC’s artwork, proofs, and setups for accuracy and strategic integrity. Ensures all creative is error-free and optimized for donor engagement.
- Ensures overall campaign quality, campaign timelines, and accuracy of deliverables, including multi-channel testing plans and campaign reports.
- Oversees the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of all assigned client projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time.
- Works with the production manager to monitor the overall production process – including initiation, scheduling, status updates, budgets and the approval process.
- Responsible for managing campaign-level costs, including analyzing budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities that align with strategy and maintain program goals.
- Manages and monitors changes in scope, priorities, and schedules, and ensures that new or modified schedules are created in response.
- Manages the creative and budget approval process with the client.
- Shares ideas and client needs throughout all phases of the client life cycle (plan, design, integrate, implement, manage, report). Assists with the development of new and innovative approaches to provide, expand, or improve current practices.
- Contacts clients on a regular basis to maintain the account relationship and to solve issues as they arise.
- Tracks and presents results to optimize campaigns as well as apprise the client of the campaign’s success.
- Prepares and conducts presentations for clients and leads client meetings.
- Creates and provides reports on the budget, campaign and testing results, and donor activity for each assigned client.
- Develops short-term strategic plans designed to ensure client satisfaction by identifying customer issues and offering creative and timely solutions to those issues.
- Contributes to long-term strategic plans designed to ensure account retention, continued account success, and realistic program expansion.
Your Profile:
- Four to five years of direct marketing fundraising experience with nonprofit clients.
- Agency experience is highly desirable.
- Project Management/project management software experience preferred – particularly experience with Workfront.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus; while not required, familiarity with the platform will give candidates a competitive edge in managing the campaign budgeting and invoicing process.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Strong experience in direct response marketing and/or fundraising and in-depth understanding of the direct response process, workflow, and project management best practices.
- Experience with marketing for nonprofits, and strong expertise in direct mail.
- Work professionally and effectively with internal teams, fostering collaboration and alignment to drive shared goals.
- Ability to adapt to change and prioritize constantly shifting opportunities, solving problems as they arise.
- Ability to monitor and accurately project campaign performance and use past results to drive future strategy.
- Demonstrates strong data fluency and can independently manage complex campaign data workflows.
- Familiarity with using models to drive audience segmentation
- Ability to report on results clearly and succinctly.
- Ability to handle multiple complex projects in a deadline-driven environment; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational/project management skills.
- Commitment to delivering error-free work and high-quality customer service to clients.
- Friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and basic understanding of analytics.
