Responsibilities:

- Administer medications accurately according to physician orders, applicable state requirements, and community policies.

- Document medication administration and maintain accurate records.

- Respond to resident needs and promptly report changes in condition or medication concerns.

- Assist with personal care, toileting, mobility, and other activities of daily living.

- Follow individualized care plans while supporting residents’ dignity and independence.

- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

- Communicate clearly with nurses, care team members, and the incoming shift.

Qualifications:

- Completion of medication aide training and any credentials required for the position.

- A compassionate, respectful approach to caring for older adults.

- Dependability, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail.

- The ability to stay attentive, organized, and responsive.

- Strong communication skills and a willingness to support teammates.

- Previous assisted living, senior living, or medication administration experience preferred.
