You will lead complex investigations and provide strategic direction across significant engagements, combining accounting expertise, investigative judgement, commercial leadership and senior stakeholder communication. This opportunity suits an experienced qualified accountant ready to lead multidisciplinary teams, build trusted client relationships and help grow the practice. Location and travel expectations will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
What your days will look like
You will set the direction for complex, sensitive engagements and ensure the work remains evidence-led, commercially sound and high quality.
- Lead complex investigations from scoping and strategy through evidence assessment, reporting, remediation and close-out.
- Oversee financial and data analysis, including tracing funds, identifying anomalies and assessing control failures or financial impact.
- Direct fraud and bribery risk advisory engagements, including maturity reviews, gap analyses and prevention-control improvements.
- Own engagement economics, risks and quality while advising senior stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams and supporting business development.
This role is for you if
- You are a qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- You have a strong track record in investigations, forensic accounting, audit, disputes or risk.
- You have led complex engagements or major workstreams, including quality, delivery, teams and engagement economics.
- You have delivered fraud, bribery or broader financial-crime advisory work, including maturity reviews or control design and testing.
- You can evaluate incomplete evidence, challenge assumptions and form balanced, defensible conclusions.
- You can advise and constructively challenge executives and legal advisers.
- You bring strong commercial, project and people leadership experience.
