Senior Software Systems Engineer

SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Software Systems Engineer.

This is a hybrid position with onsite support at our Chantilly, VA locations.

Job Description:

- Hands‑on experience with RESTful service development and modernization of legacy services.

- Experience configuring and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Azure environments.

- Experience with identity management and SSO solutions (e.g., OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, Azure AD).

- Demonstrated ability to operate across the full SDLC in a team environment.

- Experience integrating with government systems or multi‑agency environments.

- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, containerization, or Kubernetes in Azure.

- Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL/ELT tooling.

Required Education:

- BS and fourteen (14) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

- Operating Systems: Linux, Windows

- Methodologies: Agile, SDLC

- Web/Application Servers: Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, BEA WebLogic

- Technologies: CSS, HTML, J2EE, JDBC, JSF 2.1.x, JSP, JSTL, LDAP, ODBC, EJB, Spring 4.x, Struts, Hibernate 4.x, WebServices, Hadoop

- Databases: Oracle 11g, MySQL, PostgreSQL

- Tools: Apache Ant, Gradle, Maven, Ansible, Eclipse
