Kitchen Assistant (Dishwashing Focus)As a Kitchen Assistant (Kitchen Porter) at Sprout, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and safely.
This role is primarily focused on dishwashing and kitchen cleaning, making sure chefs and the wider team always have clean equipment to work with. You may also support with light prep and general kitchen tasks.
You don’t need previous experience — what matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, and pride in keeping things clean and organised.
Reporting to: Restaurant Leader
Contract: Part-time available
Pay: €14.15 per hour

What you’ll doKeep the kitchen spotlessClean and sanitise work surfaces, floors, sinks, equipment and utensils throughout the day so the kitchen stays safe and ready to use.
Look after equipmentClean kitchen equipment properly, follow the correct cleaning procedures and help make sure everything is stored safely and where it should be.
Keep things organisedMake sure the kitchen is tidy, stock is stored correctly and work areas stay clear and organised throughout the shift.
Support the prep teamIf you have time outside of cleaning, you can help with basic food prep, washing and preparing ingredients, and getting the kitchen set up for the day.
Stay on top of cleaningWork through cleaning checklists, spot jobs that need doing and take action rather than waiting to be asked.
Keep food and people safeFollow food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety procedures carefully at all times.
Jump in when it gets busySupport the wider kitchen and restaurant team wherever needed, especially during busy periods.
