Join us as an IT Process Consultant - Component Development & MCAD Tools Administration. In this role, you will support the global integration and continuous development of MCAD tools and processes used in component development. You will combine technical system administration with process consulting, system integration and close cooperation with IT, Product Development and other business units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Global responsibility for driving the business forward with integration of the tools and processes for component development;
- Administration for the MCAD systems, in particular administration and configuration Dassault Systemes CATIA, Siemens NX, PTC Creo;
- Ensuring the smooth functionality and Integration of IT system with MCAD engineering tools, as well as their interfaces to other systems;
- Contribute to architectural design discussions and drive system optimization initiatives to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability;
- Develop and implement standardized processes and methods to enhance efficiency in the MCAD environment;
- Provide 3rd- level support for MCAD users and assist with technical questions and challenges;
- Document system environment and architecture in a clear and structured manner;
- Collaborate closely with other IT departments , Product Development and business units to align MCAD solutions with broader business processes;
- Conception and implementation of interfaces to the PLM system (PTC Windchill) for seamless integration of MCAD data.
- Completed degree in the filed of engineering, computer science or comparable field;
- Ideally profound knowledge and several years of experience administrating MCAD systems, ideally with Dassault Systemes CATIA and Siemens NX;
- Programming languages understanding for general scripting is a plus;
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (e.g. PTC Windchill) and experience integrating CAD systems with PLM platforms;
- Strong analytical and structured approach, paired with excellent problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication skills in English, team orientation, and the ability to work independently;
- Proactive mindset with a comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to tasks and challenges.
