The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Mechanical Fitter`s to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The initial work scope will include routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, and shutdown activities across a range of fixed plant equipment, including conveyors, rollers, chutes, liners, dust systems, and diesel-powered assets. This is an opportunity to join our casual ongoing Shutdown Circuit Team, providing access to a pipeline of future shutdowns and maintenance works across remote and regional WA. Successful candidates will be considered for ongoing project opportunities as part of our established workforce.
About You
• Trade Certificate
• Construction Induction / White Card
• Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years
• Fire Certificate within 5 years
• MSIC – Highly desirable
