The Role

The Payments Sales Executive is a payments domain sales professional embedded within Arrive’s Payments Business Unit. Operating in a co-selling framework alongside regional Parking Sales Representatives and Account Managers, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth across our primary payment models: Merchant of Record (MoR) and Payment Facilitation (PayFac). In this role, you will lead, develop, and close complex payments opportunities with cities, municipalities, private parking operators, and universities. You will convert existing client-MoR accounts, drive net-new MoR deals, and position PayFac solutions to capture processing volume across multi-supplier and city-wide parking environments.

How to make an impact

- Drive Co-Selling Execution: Partner directly with regional Parking Sales & Account Management teams to identify, qualify, develop, and close payment processing opportunities across assigned territory and accounts.

- Lead Discovery & Commercial Structuring: Conduct discovery sessions to analyze prospective clients' payment flows, evaluate pricing structures, and deliver clear revenue and cost-saving models.

- Convert Client-MoR to Arrive MoR: Target existing Arrive parking clients operating under legacy client-MoR setups and successfully reposition Arrive as the primary Merchant of Record for both Mobile Paid Parking and Unattended PayStation solutions.

- Position PayFac Value Proposition: Present PayFac solutions to city, municipality, and institutional buyers who require keeping their own MoR mandate or want a vendor who processes all their parking transactions, while leveraging Arrive to process other payment transaction volumes.

- Collaborate with Hardware & Technical Teams: Partner with the Unattended & Hardware Payments Specialist and North American Hardware team to integrate payment processing terms into hardware sales, rentals, and bundled terminal proposals.

- Manage Pipeline & Rigorous Salesforce Tracking: Maintain strict discipline in Salesforce by logging all key sales actions, deal progression milestones, pricing presentations delivered, and qualitative client feedback to enable leadership to track overall program success and pipeline velocity.

- Stakeholder Management: Build executive relationships across finance, treasury, and procurement stakeholders at clients.

- Bridge GTM and Operations: Coordinate deal handoffs with cross-functional partners in Payments Operations to guarantee a smooth transition from contract close to transaction processing.

- Drive Key Objectives & KPIs: Deliver on core performance metrics including Annual Contract Value (ACV) and in-year revenue for net-new MoR and PayFac opportunities, conversion rates of existing client-MoR accounts, win rates on joint sales, and Salesforce tracking rigor.

About you

You are a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven sales professional with deep domain expertise in the payments ecosystem. You excel at navigating complex commercial structures and thrive in overlay or specialist roles within a matrixed sales environment. You are comfortable engaging key executives, municipal finance leaders, and university treasurers, translating intricate technical and financial concepts like interchange-plus models and multi-party settlement flows into compelling business outcomes. Highly organized and detail-oriented, you take pride in maintaining pipeline discipline while traveling across North America to partner with regional teams and deliver high-impact client consultations.

Your background

- 3+ years of direct experience in payments sales, merchant acquiring, SaaS fintech, or payment facilitation (PayFac), with experience in municipalities, higher education, or parking/mobility verticals strongly preferred.

- Deep expertise in payment card lifecycles, Card Present/Card Not Present flows, interchange-plus pricing models, network fees, chargebacks, and settlement and reconciliation workflows.

- Proven track record of pipeline generation, executive relationship building, and co-selling in a matrixed environment to manage multi-stage sales cycles through execution.

- Solid understanding of merchant underwriting, risk management, sub-merchant onboarding, and PayFac operating models.

- Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM), Microsoft Excel for commercial and pricing analysis, and modern sales enablement tools.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience, with the ability to travel across the USA and Canada.
