Software Engineer Onboard Maps

You will own an onboard live-map estimator that fuses map priors with perception. You will build change detection, define map-trust interfaces, create evaluation and regression pipelines, and ship real-time C++ estimation software for embedded systems.
Responsibilities- Own the onboard live-map estimator end to end
- Build onboard map change detection from divergence between maps and perception
- Define map-trust contracts, confidence semantics, and degraded-mode behavior
- Build ground-truth, metrics, and regression-testing pipelines
- Ship real-time C++ estimation code on embedded compute
- Aggregate fleet divergence detections into map-freshness and correction pipelines
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of production software experience, including ownership of a shipped estimation core
- Knowledge of factor graphs or filtering, data association, uncertainty propagation, and 3D geometry
- Experience fusing map data, perception output, and raw sensors
- Strong modern C++ experience for real-time embedded compute
- Experience building ground-truth or metrics pipelines and preventing regressions
- Experience defining systems and interfaces with consumer teams
