Founding Deployment Strategist (Ads)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI company focused on performance marketing as its first dedicated customer-facing deployment hire. You will work closely with the founding team and advise high-growth consumer businesses on ad strategy, while building the deployment function and helping shape its future team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage customer accounts end to end, including weekly calls, customer materials, and performance presentations to senior executives.
- Explain AI-driven advertising activity and its rationale, and relay customer context to improve the system.
- Analyze ad performance, audit accounts, and translate detailed metrics into clear executive-level insights.
- Make hands-on changes in advertising accounts when needed to address gaps or improve performance.
- Develop deployment processes and playbooks, with the opportunity to hire and lead a team as the function grows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to ten years of experience, including consulting experience and subsequent work in performance marketing or advertising.
- Substantial hands-on experience running performance advertising, ideally at a fast-growing consumer business or an advertising technology company.
- Strong advertising account analysis skills, including audits and sound judgment about campaign performance.
- Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, advertising platforms, and data analysis.
- Experience building with AI tools and using developer tools to automate workflows.
- Clear communication skills and comfort advising C-suite executives in a fast-paced startup environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Employer-sponsored visa support is not available.
