Statement of Purpose

Provides entry level technical support for agency staff and assists with the operational maintenance of systems supporting healthcare operations. The position handles workstation deployment, user support, and troubleshooting while adhering to agency security procedures designed to protect regulated data. Work is performed under supervision and in accordance with established access control policies that support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of regulated data.

Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

Responds to helpdesk tickets and technical support requests from staff.

Installs and configures workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.

Performs workstation imaging and equipment deployment.

-

Assists users with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook and Teams.

Performs password resets and basic account administration under approved procedures.

-

Escalates server, network, or security issues to Network Administrator II, III, Technical Lead or IT Manager.

Maintains asset inventory and device tracking records.

-

Documents troubleshooting steps and updates internal technical documentation.

-

Follows agency policies supporting protection of electronic protected health information and other regulated data.

-

Participate in safety program to promote client and staff safety
