Employee Ambassador to Account Managers

Location: New Philadelphia facility (629 Wabash Ave NW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663); travel required

Position Summary

The Account Manager Employee Ambassador is a warm, approachable, caring professional who genuinely cares about others' well-being. As a member of ProVia’s Corporate Care team, this position focuses on building meaningful relationships with ProVia Account Managers and providing ongoing support for their emotional and spiritual well-being.

Because Account Managers spend significant time traveling and working away from ProVia facilities, the Account Manager Employee Ambassador intentionally takes Corporate Care to them. This includes regular communication, individual conversations, ride-alongs, travel to regional and national meetings, and personal contact with Account Managers and their families when needs arise.

The Ambassador serves as a consistent point of connection between Account Managers and Corporate Care, helping ensure that employees who work remotely or spend significant time traveling continue to feel seen, valued, heard, and cared for.

The Account Manager Employee Ambassador is expected to consistently represent and uphold ProVia’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values while treating every employee and family member with dignity, compassion, professionalism, and respect.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Account Manager Care & Relationship Building

- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with Account Managers throughout their assigned territories.

- Maintain regular and intentional contact with Account Managers through phone calls, text messages, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.

- Establish a consistent communication rhythm so Account Managers remain connected to Corporate Care regardless of their location.

- Provide a safe, caring, and confidential environment for Account Managers who wish to discuss personal, family, emotional, or spiritual concerns.

- Listen effectively, provide appropriate support, and help employees identify appropriate next steps and available resources.

- Provide prayer or spiritual encouragement when requested and appropriate.

- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while providing compassionate employee care.

- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow established reporting and escalation procedures.

- Communicate with the Manager of Employee Ambassadors when guidance, additional resources, or further support is needed.

Travel & Field Support

- Travel regularly to spend time with Account Managers within their assigned territories.

- Be available for approximately 1–10 days of travel per month, depending on employee needs, meetings, scheduled ride-alongs, and Corporate Care priorities.

- Conduct scheduled ride-alongs with Account Managers to better understand their work environment, responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities.

- Use appropriate travel time with Account Managers to build relationships, listen, encourage, and provide support.

- Coordinate travel and ride-alongs in a manner that supports Account Managers without interfering with their customer responsibilities or sales objectives.

- Travel to and participate in approximately four national Account Manager meetings each year.

- Attend other regional meetings, training events, or company gatherings as requested.

- Represent Corporate Care professionally while traveling and interacting with employees, customers, and others.

Family Care & Support

- Build appropriate relationships with the families of Account Managers when opportunities arise.

- Provide care and support to Account Managers and their immediate families during significant life events, illnesses, hospitalizations, deaths, family crises, or other difficult circumstances.

- Visit Account Managers or immediate family members in hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes/calling hours, and family homes when appropriate.

- Help connect Account Managers and their families with available company, community, EAP, or other appropriate resources when needs arise.

- Recognize the unique challenges that frequent travel may create for Account Managers and their families and provide appropriate encouragement and support.

Corporate Care Connection

- Serve as a primary Corporate Care connection for Account Managers who may have limited interaction with a traditional ProVia facility.

- Help ensure Account Managers are aware of Corporate Care programs, resources, benefits, and opportunities available to them and their families.

- Collaborate with Employee Experience Specialists and other Corporate Care team members to promote and facilitate Corporate Care initiatives.

- Communicate appropriate employee needs and trends to the Manager of Employee Ambassadors while maintaining required confidentiality.

- Facilitate one-on-one conversations and small-group discussions as needed.

- Provide prayer or inspirational remarks at meetings and events when requested.

- Assist with employee appreciation, recognition, and care initiatives involving Account Managers.

- Participate in Corporate Care programs and company-wide events as assigned.

- Complete required documentation of employee one-on-one interactions in accordance with established procedures.

Professional Development & Team Responsibilities

- Participate in Employee Ambassador and Corporate Care team meetings.

- Attend seminars, training sessions, and other professional-development opportunities.

- Work cooperatively with other Employee Ambassadors, Employee Experience Specialists, Account Manager leadership, Human Resources, and other Corporate Care team members.

- Maintain appropriate communication with Account Manager leadership while respecting employee confidentiality and established Corporate Care boundaries.

- Model and preserve ProVia’s culture in all interactions.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- The ability to work independently while remaining connected and accountable to the Corporate Care team.

- The ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing travel schedules, employee needs, and priorities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company systems and technology.

- A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving requirements.

- The ability and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight travel.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in theology, counseling, human services, ministry, or a related field preferred; or

- Three to five
