Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Commercial Performance leads the team that owns the commercial performance levers that drive our revenue results. This role turns enterprise reporting into clear insight, sharp recommendations, and disciplined follow-up — giving commercial and executive leaders a trusted, single view of how the business is performing across priority customers.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue & Performance Management, this leader sits at the intersection of finance, sales, and insight. They are equally comfortable in the numbers and in the room — building the analytical foundation, running the operating rhythms that keep the organization accountable, and translating data into decisions the business can act on.

Core Responsibilities

- Own reporting and analysis for core commercial metrics across priority customers, including Pricing/Comps, Sales Performance, PID Rankings, Reviews, Lead Times, and related measures.

- Establish operating rhythms that convert enterprise reporting into actionable insights, clear recommendations, and follow-up accountability.

- Lead the Sales Performance Review meeting — including pre-read preparation, moderation, data accuracy, and action tracking.

- Own the reporting, analysis, and triangulation of external competitive data to monitor market share performance and identify retailer/customer share gains and losses.

- Track performance of new product launches, promotions, and retail tests, with clear readouts on impact, risks, and recommended actions.

What Success Looks Like

- Decision-ready reporting: Commercial leaders make faster, better-informed decisions because reporting is accurate, timely, and framed around clear recommendations.

- Operating cadence: The Sales Performance Review runs as a disciplined, well-prepared rhythm where actions are tracked to closure.

- Market visibility: The organization has an early, reliable read on competitive share movements and the drivers behind them.

- Performance tracking: Launches, promotions, and tests are measured consistently, so the business learns and adjusts quickly.

Qualifications

Required:

- 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, sales finance, revenue/commercial analytics, or a closely related field.

- Experience owning reporting and analysis for commercial or sales performance metrics, ideally across key/priority customers.

- Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to triangulate multiple data sources (internal and external/competitive) into a clear narrative.

- Proven ability to run operating rhythms and business reviews — preparing pre-reads, moderating discussion, and driving actions to closure.

- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of turning data into recommendations senior stakeholders can act on.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred:

- Experience in a consumer, CPG, or retail environment with exposure to pricing, promotions, and trade performance.

- Experience leading or developing a small analyst team.

- Familiarity with syndicated/competitive market share data and retailer scorecards.

- Advanced skills in AI/reporting tools and data visualization.
