Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health conditions and record relevant information.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Work Environment
This position is based in Sarasota, FL 34239, and may involve working in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare settings. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting or moving patients, and working various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
