Hardware Integration Engineer Mining

You will deploy integrated autonomous systems on mining and construction vehicles at customer sites. You will build, test, troubleshoot, and validate vehicle hardware and software; manage fleet reliability and issue triage; design test benches; support vehicle build-out and delivery; and maintain integration documentation.
Responsibilities- Serve as the subject matter expert for the autonomous mining system
- Deploy integrated autonomous systems on mining and construction vehicles at customer sites
- Own fleet reliability, triage issues, and resolve customer-site problems
- Design, prototype, and install proof-of-concept vehicle systems and sensors
- Support vehicle build-out, final bring-up, shakedown testing, and delivery
- Design and build test benches for mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software systems
- Develop and maintain vehicle-integration documentation
- Troubleshoot vehicle systems, computer components, and sensors through root-cause analysis
- Minimize vehicle downtime while maintaining safety
Requirements- Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, or a related field
- 5+ years of technical experience in mechanical, electrical, computer, mining, or construction industries
- Experience with autonomous-vehicle components including LiDAR, radar, and cameras
- Experience with low-volume manufacturing in the off-road industry
- Ability to read electrical schematics and datasheets
- Experience documenting and maintaining detailed assembly procedures
- Experience using shop equipment, 3D printers, and automotive diagnostic tools
- CNC, machining, metalworking, welding, automotive repair, and maintenance experience
