- Interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and work instructions to determine machining methods, tooling requirements, and production sequences.

- Perform advanced dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, hole gauges, and telescopic gauges, ensuring compliance with design specifications.

- Manufacture prototype components, custom tooling, fixtures, and specialized testing equipment to support engineering development, product validation, and operational improvement initiatives.

- Select and install fixtures, cutting tools, and machine accessories while optimizing machine setup, speeds, feeds, and production efficiency.

- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to verify product conformance with customer requirements, company quality standards, and ISO procedures.

- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and equipment issues; identify root causes of manufacturing defects and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machine tools, including lubrication, fluid management, cleaning, equipment inspections, and minor adjustments to ensure reliable operation.

- Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, maintenance logs, and timekeeping documentation in accordance with company procedures.

- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product development, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain detailed shift communication logs and effectively communicate equipment status, production concerns, and quality issues to ensure seamless operational transitions.

- Consistently adhere to all safety regulations, environmental requirements, and shop practices while promoting a culture of workplace safety and operational excellence.

- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced machinists and operators on machining techniques, equipment operation, quality standards, and safe work practices.

- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Production and Engineering Management to support departmental and organizational objectives.
