1.1 Role ProfileThis role is primarily automation-driven, focusing on the execution and maintenance of automated testing processes. The responsibilities include owning the automated integration-test suite and E2E test suite, along with managing load/performance test setups and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with pilot users. The role encompasses building the automated test suite alongside module development, with a later emphasis on UAT coordination and regression-test maintenance.

1.2 Main ResponsibilitiesThis position involves core responsibilities, including:

- Designing and implementing the automated end-to-end test suite (Playwright) for critical user journeys.

- Developing automated API/integration tests against module interfaces using tools such as Kreya, Postman/Newman, or REST Assured.

- Defining and executing approximately 15 test scenarios per interface against mocks/stubs, then staging systems.

- Setting up and executing load/performance tests (e.g., JMeter or Gatling) against defined targets.

- Maintaining and extending the test concept in line with evolving modules.

- Integrating automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline for coverage and quality-gate reporting.

- Coordinating manual User Acceptance Testing with users, structuring scripts and consolidating results.

- Maintaining regression tests to support the certification cycle and throughout the customer rollout.

- Logging and verifying defects in collaboration with Backend and Frontend Engineers.

1.3 Key Requirements- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.

- Hands-on experience with E2E test automation frameworks, ideally Playwright.

- Experience with API/integration testing tools (Kreya, Postman/Newman, REST Assured).

- Experience in load/performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Coordination experience with manual acceptance testing.

- Proficient in English for documentation and communication.

- Native Portuguese speaker or at least C2 level.

1.4 Nice to Have- Experience testing systems with regulatory/compliance certification requirements.

- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1 AA, Axe).

- Experience with asynchronous/messaging-based systems.

- Experience in regulated environments like public administration, e-government, or finance.

- Basic scripting skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Java.

1.5 Other DetailsThis position involves close collaboration with Backend and Frontend Engineers, Business Analysts, and project management for UAT planning. It may also include liaisons with pilot users during the UAT phase.
