We are looking for a highly organized Junior Invoicing Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with the opportunity to extend the contract based on future business needs. In this role, you will be involved in the entire financial lifecycle of our campaigns.
What you will be doing:
- Control and manage the revenue and accounting lifecycle for campaigns in our systems.
- Ensure accurate setup, tracking, and maintenance of campaigns, contracts, purchase orders, and revenue-related data.
- Support and continuously enhance the monthly billing and invoicing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data.
- Serve as the central link and maintain regular communication with the Campaigns team to keep up with changes in a dynamic environment.
- Communicate directly with clients to assist with billing inquiries, invoice-related questions, and claims management.
- Support accounts receivable and monthly closing activities, including revenue recognition, payment allocation, billing records, and revenue reports.
- Support and maintain revenue and finance reporting using our data-visualization tools.
- Contribute to projects aimed at establishing structures, automating workflows, and enhancing the contract management and billing modules in our software.
- Assist the team with ad-hoc finance and revenue operations tasks as needed.
What we need from you:
- Good command of spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and a strong interest in invoicing, finance processes, and digital tools.
- Understanding of general accounting and basic knowledge of revenue recognition (knowledge of DATEV, controlling, or German taxation is a plus).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and a love for well-organized systems and data.
- Digital mindset with an interest in process optimization and automation.
- Structured and detail-oriented work style while remaining pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- Distinct service attitude towards clients and colleagues, paired with a motivated personality and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English; German is a big plus.
