Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to ensure that accurate, structured and high-quality source data is available for the platform and downstream analytics.
The role focuses on data modelling, master data validation and data quality, with hands-on experience in SQL, DDL, BigQuery, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with source-system owners, master data stakeholders, business teams and IT.
What You Will Work On
Ensure source data is correctly structured, modelled and validated
Validate master data and reference data
Ensure data quality for items, hierarchies, market data, prices and related datasets
Develop and maintain data models and information models
Work with SQL and DDL
Work with BigQuery, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform
Coordinate with source-system owners and master data owners
Investigate and resolve data-quality issues
Collaborate with project managers, testers, product owners, developers, solution architects and integration teams
Identify unclear requirements and proactively raise data-related issues
What You Bring
Senior-level experience in Data Engineering / Data Quality
Strong experience with information modelling and data modelling
Strong SQL and DDL skills
Experience with BigQuery
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Good understanding of master data, reference data and data quality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
Experience with data governance and data-quality processes
Experience working with product/item data and complex hierarchies
Experience from large enterprise data environments
Experience coordinating with multiple source systems and data owners
