The Raid Hunter ILS team is seeking a Logistics Engineer to run the program’s day-to-day logistics operations and serve as the team’s data and material hub. This role owns inventory and GFP accountability, coordinates CONUS/OCONUS shipments, maintains the logistics database, and takes over the supportability-data handoff currently performed by Test Engineering, free engineers to focus on test while giving the ILS engineers clean, timely data for analysis. The analyst will work closely with ILS engineering, Reliability, Supply Chain, Test, and the customer from development through production and fielding.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day logistics operations on the Raid Hunter Product Support Team, including inventory management and Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T).
- Coordinate shipment of classified and unclassified material to CONUS and OCONUS military installations using commercial and military carriers, including shipping documentation, carrier coordination, and tracking through delivery.
- Manage and maintain inventory databases for system spares, repair parts, and Government Furnished Property (GFP); update records as material is received, moved, issued, or consumed, and provide inventory and accountability reports to RAID Hunter leadership.
- Own the logistician side of the supportability-analysis handoff from Test Engineering: capture maintenance actions, removals, failures, and task times observed during test, and translate them into logistics data for the ILS engineering team.
- Develop and maintain the program logistics database, including entry and upkeep of Logistics Product Data (LPD) in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007 under the direction of the ILS engineers.
- Support ILS engineers in preparing task analyses, maintenance plans, provisioning requirements, and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) inputs by gathering, validating, and organizing source data.
- Analyze and interpret technical data (drawings, parts lists, specifications, manuals) to build and maintain logistics data, including the program Master Material List and spares lists.
- Synthesize logistics data into metric dashboards and status reports that give the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and leadership timely operational insight.
- Interface with Global Supply Chain and Procurement to track spares orders, expedite material, and help evaluate new or replacement sources of supply to meet build and test schedules.
- Produce and maintain logistics support documentation in accordance with company policy, contract requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement of ILS team practices, tools, and processes as the RAID Hunter program matures from development through production and fielding.
