Adult Day Services Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of our adult day service, ensuring that participants receive engaging, safe, and meaningful experiences. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating programs while collaborating with staff, families, and community partners to support the needs and goals of participants.
Responsibilities:
Program Development:
- Design and implement innovative and inclusive programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of clients. Supervision:
- Lead and supervise staff, volunteers, and interns, providing guidance and support to ensure a high standard of care and engagement.
- Client Engagement: Build positive relationships with clients, encouraging active participation and fostering a supportive environment.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments of client progress and program effectiveness, adjusting as needed to improve services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with families, caregivers, and community organizations to coordinate services and resources.
- Compliance: Ensure all programs comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and best practices for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Complete daily service documentation per each individual support plan.
Training:
- Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for staff related to best practices in intellectual and developmental disabilities support.
- Ensure all mandatory training is completed by all ADS staff
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the program budget, including tracking expenses and seeking funding opportunities.
Transportation:
- Following all driving laws anytime you drive along with Creative Foundations’ Driving Policy.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered,
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), preferably in adult day services or community-based programs.
- Prior experience in staff supervision, program coordination, or a leadership capacity preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing person-centered programs that promote independence, community integration, and skill development.
- Knowledge of Ohio DODD regulations, Individual Service Plans (ISPs), documentation requirements, and best practices in supporting individuals with I/DD.
- Experience providing staff training, monitoring compliance, and maintaining accurate service documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals, families, staff, and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Ability to successfully complete all required background checks, training, and certifications in accordance with Ohio DODD regulations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet organizational driving requirements.
