A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Senior Manager Engineering you will lead our Engineering organization in Feucht and strengthen collaboration across our international Engineering footprint.
In addition to the direct leadership of Engineering in Feucht, the role will drive Engineering alignment, workshare and capacity coordination with Guangzhou and our new site in Thailand.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Leading and developing the Engineering organization in Feucht
- Building a high-performing organization with clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities
- Driving organizational development, change and continuous improvement
- Strengthening Engineering alignment, workshare and capacity coordination across Feucht, Guangzhou and Thailand
- Developing talent, succession pipelines and future leadership capabilities
- Fostering modern Engineering approaches, including Agile/Scrum, digitalization and AI in Engineering
- Ensuring strong collaboration with Product Management, R&D, Operations and other key stakeholders
- Promoting effective collaboration across international and culturally diverse teams.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of leadership experience in Engineering within an industrial or technology-driven environment
- Proven people leadership, change management and organizational development capabilities
- Experience working in international and matrix organizations
- Strong intercultural skills; experience working with Asian, particularly Chinese, teams is highly valued
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or comparable modern Engineering methodologies
- Interest in and experience with digitalization and AI applications in Engineering is an advantage
- Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
