About the Role

We're looking for an ERP Systems Administrator to become a key point of contact for ERP and business system support across the organisation.

You'll provide first-level support, investigate and troubleshoot system issues, work with business data, document processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvement.

You'll work closely with users, developers and the Innovation team on system maintenance, testing and ongoing improvements.

This is not a pure Helpdesk or pure Developer role. We're looking for someone who understands ERP and business systems, can troubleshoot and support users, and has some exposure to coding and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level ERP and business systems support

- Investigate and troubleshoot system and data issues

- Support users and resolve issues where possible

- Analyse business data to identify problems and potential solutions

- Assist with system maintenance, testing and improvements

- Document business processes, system procedures and solutions

- Identify opportunities for process and system improvement

- Work with developers on more complex system issues

- Support system documentation and knowledge sharing

- Contribute to Innovation projects and initiatives

About You

You'll have:

- Hands-on ERP experience – essential

- 1–2 years’ experience in IT support, helpdesk, or application support.

- 1-2 years application support experience with Hands-on experience with ERP systems, Microsoft SQL Server.

- Basic coding experience and familiarity business systems with system maintenance.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

- Experience supporting ERP, applications or business systems

- An understanding of how business systems support business operations

- Basic coding experience and exposure to system maintenance

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to investigate issues rather than simply escalate them

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical users

- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and wider business teams

- Exposure to SQL or data analysis is highly regarded, but not essential.

A background in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems or a related discipline would be beneficial.

We are not looking for someone whose experience is limited to general Helpdesk or desktop support. You should have genuine exposure to ERP, business applications or systems.

This is also not a pure development role — advanced coding is not required.

Desirable – But Not Essential

The following experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential:

- Epicor ERP or another major ERP platform

- ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations or major system changes

- BI, reporting or data analytics

- CRM systems such as Salesforce or SugarCRM

- Additional coding or development experience

- Documenting procedures

- ERP integrations, APIs or system interfaces

Don't have Epicor experience? That's absolutely fine. Strong ERP and business systems experience across another relevant ERP platform is highly valued.
