About the role

MUFG Pension & Market Services is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to build strong client partnerships and support the delivery of high-quality services across our Corporate Markets business.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining client relationship management with operational coordination and administration. You’ll be responsible for managing client needs, coordinating service delivery, resolving queries and ensuring key projects and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Working closely with internal teams, you’ll help maintain client satisfaction, identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and support the effective delivery of services in a regulated financial services environment.

This opportunity will suit someone with financial services experience who enjoys working directly with clients while remaining closely involved in the operational detail that keeps things running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and managing expectations.

- Act as a key point of contact for client enquiries, issues and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.

- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, support client retention and contribute to revenue growth through additional services.

- Participate in client meetings, account planning, fee discussions and service level agreement reviews.

Operational Delivery

- Coordinate client projects, mailings and key annual events, including Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed timeframes.

- Monitor client queries, complaints and service delivery against agreed service levels.

- Follow established procedures and operational controls to manage risk and maintain service quality.

- Assist with client invoicing, expense recovery and debtor management.

Collaboration, Governance and Risk

- Partner with Client Relationship Associate's, operational teams and other internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent client experience.

- Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Contribute to process improvements and initiatives that enhance client service and operational efficiency.

- Support the development of long-term client partnerships and commercially sustainable service arrangements.

What you’ll bring

- Financial services experience is essential, ideally in a client-facing, customer service, account management or operational role.

- Experience building and maintaining client relationships, managing enquiries and delivering a high standard of service.

- A willingness to work across both relationship management and hands-on operational and administrative responsibilities.

- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

- A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to work independently when required.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Experience in registry, shareholder services or a related financial services environment will be advantageous.
