SECURITY GUARD - PART TIME OVERNIGHT SHIFTS - Fridays and Saturdays (14 hours a week)
Location: CALGARY - SETON, SW AREA

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Overnight Security Guard for sites located in the Seton Area.
* Must have reliable transportation - No transit available at the end of the shift.
* Must be available for the schedule listed below
Shift Opportunity:
- FRIDAY TO SATURDAY from 2100 - 0400
- Pay rate: $16.25 per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets, and personnel.
- Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
- Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
- Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
- Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
- Use computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic training.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid provincial Security Guard License
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Reliable means of transportation
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
- Capable of using visitor management systems.
- Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- First Aid/ CPR is considered an asset.
