Security Officer-Full-Time(Bettendorf) 1st Shift

Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across all areas of the property. This role protects guests, employees, and assets; enforces company and regulatory policies; and responds to incidents or emergencies.
- Provide Family Style Service to guests and staff.
- Offer directions, answer questions, and help resolve issues with courtesy and patience for guests and Team members.
- Assist with table and slot drops, cash escorts, chip fills, and other money-handling procedures.
- Provide rapid response and assist with medical and safety emergencies.
- Document incidents clearly using reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations, hotel policies, and local laws.
- Monitor all area on property for suspicious behavior and regulatory violations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Ability to learn other Security specific programs.
- Strong attention to detail when examining guest identification and behavior.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license
- Must have valid state driver’s license
- High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking.
- Intermittent sitting at a desk or company vehicle.
- Work area is both indoors and outdoors and subject to variable temperatures.
- May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.
