We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to join our team at
Dreghorn Barracks, Edinburgh, EH13 9QW. This is a fantastic opportunity for a
flexible and enthusiastic individual looking for a part-time role within a busy military catering and hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing
• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Delivering excellent customer service to customers and guests
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions
• Replenishing service areas and food counters
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting kitchen porter duties as required
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the
service
About you
• Previous catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is
desirable but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Flexible and adaptable to business needs
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Important Requirements
• Successful candidates will be required to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel
Security Standard) clearance prior to commencing employment.
