Service Desk Technician

Superlanet · San Diego, United States

Superlanet is seeking multiple Service Desk Technicians to support a five-month Annual Information Services PC Refresh initiative for our San Diego healthcare client.

These technicians will provide hands-on workstation deployment and replacement support, including removing existing equipment, installing and configuring new workstations, connecting peripherals and network printers, validating functionality with end users, and troubleshooting issues that arise during the refresh process.

Candidates should bring strong desktop support experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users in a healthcare environment.

The team will initially work 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM during training. Because PC Refresh activities are typically completed during non-peak business hours to minimize disruption to end users, technicians should be comfortable transitioning to approximately 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with hours varying based on site and project needs.

- Perform workstation replacements as part of the annual PC Refresh initiative, including removal of existing equipment and installation of new workstations.

- Image, configure, deploy, and validate desktop and laptop computers.

- Diagnose network connectivity issues involving technologies and protocols such as DHCP and TCP/IP, escalating when appropriate.

- Perform hardware and software testing, analyze results, and document findings or recommendations.

- Perform appropriate cable and wire management to improve troubleshooting accessibility and maintain user and equipment safety
