Asbury Village, a leading independent living community in Alton, IL, is looking for a reliable and motivated Groundskeeper to help keep our campus safe, clean, and welcoming for our senior residents and guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and common outdoor areas
- Mow, trim, weed, and plant seasonal flowers
- Remove snow and ice to keep paths safe during winter months
- Inspect grounds and report maintenance needs or hazards
- Operate and care for landscaping tools and equipment
- Assist with outdoor resident events or small maintenance projects
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable using lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Attention to safety and detail
- A team player who enjoys working in a senior living environment
