Job Summary
Brinker International is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to partner with Product Owners working in Brinker Marketing’s Digital Guest Experience (DGE) space. As DGE Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Brinker Marketing team, Brinker IT architects and developers, as well as third-party vendors to deliver on product goals.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage and deliver on objectives within projected timelines that enable robust digital experiences for our restaurant guests. As DGE Project Coordinator, you will help manage initiatives related to our restaurant web and mobile applications, loyalty and CRM platform for all restaurant brands (Chili’s and Maggiano’s). Leveraging Agile development principles, you will be responsible for participating in planning sessions, documenting detailed user stories, and working with subject matter experts to refine and manage backlog items in partnership with the Product Owner. You will also be expected to provide guidance and oversight on all sprint development activities, QA validation, user acceptance testing and deployment activities.
What You’ll Do
• Communicate regularly with the product owner and development teams to ensure a transparent and productive environment
• Perform Agile responsibilities such as writing and refining user stories, specifying acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, and risk management
• Effectively manage multiple streams of work and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner
• Facilitate recurring status meetings and distribute meeting minutes
• Maintain and update project schedules, tasks and action items
• Monitor project progress and document risks and roadblocks as they arise
• Partner with the Product Owner with overall project management and oversight to keep multiple initiatives moving forward and ensure product goals are delivered on time successfully
What You Bring to the Team
Required Skills:
• 2-3+ years experience working with software development teams (ecommerce experience a plus)
• Working knowledge of Agile development principles and processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Hospitality or retail industry experience a plus
Education:
• BS/BA degree for Information Systems or related field preferred, or equivalent formal training or work experience
