Laundry Aide

Responsibilities:

- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents’ personal laundry and community linens.

- Ensure clothing, linens, and towels are returned clean and in good condition.

- Follow care labels and laundry procedures to prevent damage or misplaced items.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.

- Follow infection control procedures and safely handle laundry products and equipment.

- Report damaged items, equipment concerns, or supply needs to the supervisor.

- Respect residents’ privacy and preferences, including knocking before entering rooms.

- Communicate respectfully with residents and coworkers and contribute to a positive community environment.

Qualifications:

- Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or senior living experience is helpful but not required.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Dependable, respectful, and compassionate.

- Commitment to providing quality service and supporting the needs of older adults.
