This individual combines commercial acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for sports and entertainment to drive partner success, renewal revenue, and organizational growth
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partnership Activation
- Lead the strategic execution and fulfillment of assigned partnership portfolios, ensuring all contractual obligations are delivered at a best-in-class level.
- Work with Director of Partnership Marketing to assist with renewal and upsell revenue strategy, including long-term planning.
- Manage and maintain strategic business partnerships that directly contribute to Partnership Marketing and Media Sales renewal and revenue objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of partner business goals, industry trends, and marketing priorities to deliver customized activation strategies and solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create and execute integrated marketing programs aligned with client business objectives.
- Oversee execution of partnership assets including but not limited to:
- In-arena and in-market activations
- Digital and social media campaigns
- Hospitality and premium experiences
- Community and charitable initiatives
- Content and experiential marketing programs
- Lead the development and presentation of strategic partnership plans, activation reports, performance insights, and season recap presentations.
- Manage and delegate game day responsibilities to ensure flawless partner execution.
Partner Leadership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary strategic contact for key corporate partners, building strong relationships with senior-level and C-suite stakeholders.
- Lead renewal planning efforts by developing compelling ROI and ROO narratives, insights, and success stories that reinforce partnership value.
- Identify opportunities for partnership growth through incremental programs, enhanced integrations, and innovative activations.
- Support leadership in developing and executing renewal strategies that drive long-term partner retention and revenue growth.
- Maintain a proactive approach to account management, ensuring high partner satisfaction and exceptional service levels.
Team Leadership & Department Development
- Lead and develop a team of 3-4 Partnership Marketing Managers and Coordinators, providing coaching, mentorship, accountability, and professional development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and excellence throughout the department.
- Establish clear goals and expectations while promoting best practices and consistent execution across the team.
- Oversee employee administrative responsibilities including timesheet approvals, PTO requests, scheduling, and performance management for direct reports.
- Work closely with department leadership on inventory management and strategic departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and partnership innovation efforts that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across:
- Game Entertainment, Marketing, Community Relations, Ticket Sales, Arena Operations & Facilities, Communications and Content Teams
- Act as an organizational leader and problem-solver, ensuring alignment across departments in support of partnership objectives.
- Support a positive, results-driven culture focused on relationships, revenue growth, innovation, and teamwork.
Growth & Industry Leadership
- Become an expert in partnership vendor tools to ensure high level recaps are delivered
- Stay current on trends across sports, entertainment, marketing, sponsorship, and consumer engagement.
- Leverage industry best practices and marketplace insights to enhance partner value and identify new revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship activation, sponsorship sales, account management, brand marketing, event marketing, team, property, or agency environments.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, integrated marketing programs and seven-figure sponsorship partnerships.
- Experience leading client relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Sports Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience across professional sports and entertainment properties.
- Previous people management experience leading high-performing teams.

- Experience with Salesforce, KORE Software, CRM platforms, and partnership management tools preferred.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, in-office position.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and game/event nights as required.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $105,000 annually
- Commission Eligibility: discretionary commission tied to revenue achievement
- Bonus Eligibility: Annual discretionary bonus
