ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage data infrastructure and analytics company building AI-native systems for the offline economy, starting with consumer packaged goods. As a founding engineer, you will work across product and infrastructure, partner directly with customers, and help shape the engineering culture from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and deploy evaluation platforms that create fast feedback loops around product outcomes.
- Develop foundational data infrastructure for single-tenant and multi-tenant environments at terabyte scale.
- Own end-to-end delivery of production AI agents for customer use cases.
- Design a context layer that captures how organizations operate internally.
- Collaborate with customers to understand business objectives and build software for finance, sales, and operations.
- Help define the technical standards and team culture as an early member of the company.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience, with experience delivering projects that have measurable impact.
- Fluency in a server-side language such as Python, Go, Java, or Rust, as well as TypeScript and customer-facing product development.
- Experience with data infrastructure, data pipelines, or extraction systems, and strong debugging skills in production environments.
- Experience using AI-native development tools and workflows, including coding agents and related integrations.
- Background at a high-growth technology company or as a founder or early engineer at a venture-backed startup.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, demonstrated through education or equivalent software engineering experience.
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, Next.js, GCP, and Terraform is relevant.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $150,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
