The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company assets and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees. This role provides assistance, conducts patrols, responds to incidents, and enforces company policies while maintaining professionalism and exceptional service.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of guests and fellow employees.
- Provide directions, escorts, and assistance to guests as needed.
- Assist civil and law enforcement authorities, including providing testimony in court or administrative hearings.
- Perform chip fills, jackpot verifications, and money escorts.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Patrol all areas of the property to identify safety hazards and security concerns.
- Interview, investigate, and document incidents in accordance with company policy.
- Complete detailed lost and found reports and incident descriptions.
- Enforce all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain attendance standards and adhere to departmental and company guidelines.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 115°F.
- Ability to physically restrain individuals when necessary.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis or stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, and maneuver quickly on various surfaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
- Ability to tolerate secondhand smoke
Wage: $16.00 an hour
