About the Role

We’re looking for an inspiring leader, with a deep

understanding of compliance and operational requirements in the early learning

sector, ready to join a team with a long history of demonstrating, advocating

and collaborating. The Assistant Manager oversees the service’s

operational activities, ensuring they are carried out effectively and

efficiently. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing staff

rostering, meeting compliance obligations and identifying opportunities for

improvement across the program consistent with the Quality Improvement Plan

(QIP). As a leader, the Assistant Manager is also expected to build

strong relationships with children, families, and educators, fostering an

inviting, engaging, high-quality, and responsive service.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring to the role:

- Previous experience in Leadership/Management in an

ECEC setting with the ability to motivate, influence, mentor, and

coach individuals and teams.

- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing

staff rosters to meet regulatory ratio requirements while ensuring

high quality service delivery.

- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain

strong relationships with children, families, educators, community, and

other relevant stakeholders.

- Previous experience in managing Compliance and

Operations in an ECEC setting.

- Previous experience in service

development (e.g. QIP) in an ECEC setting.

- In depth working knowledge of the NQF (comprising the

Education and Care Services National Law and National Regs) and the NQS.
