The Manager, Marketing Analytics & Partnerships, supports the execution of day-to-day projects while helping advance longer-term strategic initiatives across Pace University’s University Relations division. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Operations, this role works in close partnership with the Director to translate priorities into structured workplans, maintain momentum across active initiatives, and help move high-impact projects from concept through execution.
The Manager, Marketing Analytics & Partnerships will serve as a hands-on project management partner across University Relations, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and follow-through. The role will also support the evaluation of marketing campaign performance, using data and analytics to measure impact, identify performance trends and uplifts, and translate findings into actionable insights that inform future marketing strategies and investments. In parallel, the role will contribute to strategic initiatives such as space monetization and other projects routed by the Director of Strategy and Operations by gathering and synthesizing information, evaluating opportunities, developing business cases and recommendations, and identifying areas for operational or financial optimization.
This role is well suited for an individual who is comfortable moving between execution and strategy. The Manager, Marketing Analytics & Partnerships will remain in frequent contact with the Director of Strategy and Operations, proactively surface risks and opportunities, help pioneer active initiatives across University Relations, and ensure work continues to progress with clear ownership, accountability, and next steps.
Position Duties
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives across University Relations, maintaining visibility into timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, owners, and next steps.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items for departmental and University-wide initiatives, including major institutional priorities and events.
- Drive consistent follow-through on active workstreams by coordinating stakeholders, tracking commitments, resolving routine blockers, and escalating risks, delays, or competing priorities to the Director and relevant leaders.
- Support the development and advancement of longer-term strategic initiatives, including space monetization and other projects identified by the Director of Strategy and Operations.
- Conduct research, gather internal and external inputs, analyze available data, and synthesize findings to support business cases, recommendations, implementation plans, and leadership decision-making.
- Identify areas of operational, financial, or process optimization and develop structured perspectives and recommendations for discussion with the Director of Strategy and Operations.
- Leverage marketing performance data and analytics to assess the impact of campaigns and activations, surface meaningful trends and performance uplifts, and identify opportunities to strengthen future marketing efforts.
- Work closely with leaders and teams across University Relations to translate strategic priorities into clear actions, owners, timelines, and measurable next steps.
- Maintain regular contact with the Director of Strategy and Operations on initiative progress, emerging needs, risks, decisions, and opportunities requiring leadership input.
- Serve as a connective point across stakeholders, helping ensure projects remain aligned, decisions are captured, and initiatives continue moving forward across functional boundaries.
- Develop and maintain trackers, workflows, templates, documentation, and other sources of truth that improve visibility and support consistent execution across University Relations.
- Assess existing processes and ways of working to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, reduce duplication, and strengthen operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation of new processes, tools, and operating practices and help translate improvements into practical, sustainable ways of working for teams.
- Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Experience in strategy, project management, operations, consulting, business analysis, marketing, higher education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining strong follow-through.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, business cases, operating models, documentation, and executive-ready status updates.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear findings, recommendations, and next steps.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively advance work, follow up on action items, identify what is needed next, and drive initiatives forward in a collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships across teams and levels of an organization.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies, opportunities, and potential roadblocks and escalate or recommend actions appropriately.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment that requires movement between day-to-day execution and longer-term strategic thinking.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Word, Outlook, and Teams, or comparable collaboration and productivity platforms.
Work Hours
This is a full-time position. Standard work hours will align with Pace University’s established business hours and departmental needs. The position is based at Pace University’s New York City campus at 161 William Street, New York, NY 10038. Occasional travel to other Pace University locations may be required based on departmental or project needs. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support key University Relations initiatives, events, deadlines, or meetings.
Hybrid, 2-3 days in office weekly.
