Solutions Consultant
FourQuarters Recruitment · Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne VIC · hybrid
The Role
You will play a key role throughout the client journey, working with customers to understand their processes, support implementations and build users’ confidence through training and ongoing guidance.
Your days could involve running a customer workshop, preparing system data, delivering training or helping a user with a reporting query. The emphasis is on understanding customer needs and coordinating solutions, with specialist technical teams handling more complex issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Guiding customers through software implementations, coordinating activities and delivering against project plans.
- Understanding operational processes and helping customers set up customer information and system data.
- Supporting user acceptance testing and helping teams prepare for go-live.
- Delivering training and demonstrations to individuals and larger groups.
- Managing day-to-day enquiries around software functionality, reporting and data.
- Gathering information, triaging issues and coordinating escalations with technical and product teams.
- Keeping customers informed and following enquiries through to resolution.
- Supporting conferences and customer demonstrations, with travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
About You
You enjoy working with people, learning how things operate and helping others feel confident using systems. You could come from customer support, software implementation or training, or an operational role where you have become the go-to person for systems and processes.
You will bring:
- Customer engagement: Confidence building relationships, asking questions and understanding what customers need.
- Communication and training: The ability to explain processes clearly, adapt to different audiences and guide users through unfamiliar functionality.
- Systems confidence: Comfortable learning software, maintaining accurate information and helping others use applications effectively.
- Problem-solving: A practical approach to clarifying issues, identifying next steps and knowing when to involve specialist support.
- Organisation: The ability to balance customer enquiries, training sessions and project activities.
- Collaboration: A flexible approach to working within a small team and contributing across different customers and projects.
Application support or implementation experience would be advantageous, but is not essential. Experience maintaining system data, training colleagues, supporting a rollout or acting as a systems superuser would also be highly relevant.
