ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fintech team as a senior engineer focused on the craft of product design and frontend engineering. You will shape intuitive experiences for complex mortgage workflows, taking work from Figma concepts through production-ready implementation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own end-to-end design and implementation, from wireframes in Figma to React and TypeScript interfaces.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library using shadcn/ui.
- Create accessible, production-quality React components with careful ARIA, keyboard, and focus management.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to make complex workflows intuitive and consistent.
- Define and uphold visual and interaction design standards across the product.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years in a design engineering, frontend, or full-stack software engineering role, with senior-level experience.
- A strong production engineering background with React and TypeScript, plus experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as shadcn/ui.
- Deep Figma proficiency, including libraries, variants, and auto-layout.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems for data-dense B2B SaaS interfaces or polished consumer products.
- A strong eye for visual and interaction design, accessibility, and detail; a portfolio or personal site demonstrating this craft is valued.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience contributing beyond visual design, including shipping production code.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
