About the Role
North America is one of our priority markets. With Spend launching in the US, paid search is a core demand-capture channel, and we're hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to run it day to day. You'll own the execution of paid search across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising in North America, working to the strategy set by the Senior Manager, Paid Marketing, and driving a consistent pipeline of high-quality B2B leads for Sales. You'll also help shape how Perk shows up in AI answer engines, partnering with our SEO team on AEO. This is a hands-on role for someone who is strong on data, curious about AI, and comfortable working across Marketing and Sales.
What You'll Do:
Campaign management and optimization
- Manage Perk's paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising in North America, owning bid management, budget pacing and campaign optimisation.
- Run regular search query analysis, keyword expansion and negative keyword management to keep the account efficient and clean.
- Use data-driven optimization to iterate continuously on efficiency and results across key metrics, from in-platform performance to online and offline conversions.
Testing and analysis
- Create, monitor and analyse A/B tests on ad copy and landing pages.
- Run competitor and industry analysis to find opportunities to improve campaigns.
- Report to management and key stakeholders with regular performance updates and monthly reporting.
AEO and AI search
- Partner with the SEO team on AEO (Answer Engine optimization) initiatives, so that Perk is found and cited by AI answer engines for the travel and spend topics that matter to our buyers.
- Use paid search data (converting queries, competitor terms, landing page performance) to inform AEO priorities and content.
- Test and report on how AI-driven search features, including AI Overviews and Google's AI Max, change performance and user behavior.
- Embrace AI tools in your day-to-day workflow, from ad copy and keyword research to performance analysis, and help the team adopt new ways of working as our AI capabilities evolve.
Working across teams
- Work with North America Field Marketing and SDR teams to improve lead quality and close the gap between Marketing and Sales.
- Collaborate with global Paid Media, Brand and Creative teams so paid search connects to the wider customer journey.
- Maintain strong relationships with platform partner reps (Google, Microsoft) to stay ahead of new features and betas.
What We're Looking For
Paid search expertise
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns, in-house or at a digital agency.
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Ads, including Search, Performance Max and Remarketing.
- Proficient use of Google Ads Editor and/or Microsoft Advertising Editor.
- Experience managing B2B lead generation campaigns at scale.
- Strong understanding of SQR analysis, keyword optimisation, match types and bidding strategies.
- Proven track record of delivering (or overachieving) against growth targets and quarterly OKRs.
- Experience with conversion tracking, tag management (e.g. Google Tag Manager) and attribution.
- Analytical proficiency: comfortable in Google Analytics, Looker or similar tools, and skilled in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Skills and traits
- Analytical mindset: you turn campaign data into clear actions and learnings and share them with the wider team.
- Strategic yet hands-on: you move between high-level planning and day-to-day execution.
- Test-and-learn approach: curious and iterative, and not afraid to shut down what isn't working.
- Great communicator: you explain your decisions and reasoning clearly across teams.
- Highly organised: you bring discipline to budget management, account hygiene and campaign structure.
- Up to date: you stay ahead of platform updates, new ad features and industry trends.
- Team player: collaborative and cross-functional by nature.
- AI-curious: open to experimenting with AI tools and helping shape how the team works as they mature.
