ABOUT THE ROLE
Build developer-facing products that turn challenging web pages into clean data and useful actions for AI agents. You will own features from early idea through production, helping shape APIs and product decisions for a web data and AI infrastructure platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship product features for developers, from initial concept through production.
- Own the reliability and quality of features that interact with a constantly changing web.
- Turn ambiguous technical challenges into clear, easy-to-use APIs.
- Work with engineering teammates on the roadmap and product tradeoffs.
- Use the product, review developer feedback, and incorporate real user needs into your work.
- Work directly with customers to debug integrations and learn from their use cases.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to eight years of product engineering experience, including shipping products used by external developers.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, with experience building APIs, SDKs, or developer tools.
- Production experience with browser automation, web scraping, anti-bot systems, or web agents, using tools such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Chromium.
- Experience with AI agents and LLMs, including daily use of coding agents and an understanding of how agents use tools and web data.
- Ability to own features end to end, work through ambiguity, and adjust product direction based on user behavior.
- Comfort collaborating directly with customers while maintaining ownership of product work.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $235,000 to $260,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site five days per week in San Francisco, California. Candidates based in Toronto may also be considered and must be able to work on-site there.
